Questions people ask.

What is a domain name?

It is your web address, such as yourbusiness.com. People type it to reach your site, and it is also the ending of your business email, such as hello@yourbusiness.com.

Should I pick .com or .co?

A .com is the first one most people try, so it is the best choice when it is free. A .co is shorter and works well when the .com is taken, though some visitors will type .com by mistake. Choose the one you can say out loud without spelling it.

What does looks available mean?

It means the registry has no record of that name right now. Names can still be reserved or priced as premium, so we confirm availability and the price when we register it.

What is hosting, and do I need it?

Hosting is where your website files live so people can open them. A domain is the address and hosting is the building. Every site needs both, and we can set up and look after hosting for you.

Can you register and manage the domain for me?

Yes. We can register the name, keep it renewed and connect it to your website. You keep ownership of your domain.

How do I choose a good name?

Keep it short and easy to spell. Use your business name when you can, and avoid hyphens and numbers, which people forget. If the name you want is taken, add your city or what you do, for example the name plus la or studio.
