Working with us
Who we are, how a project starts and what to expect.
What does Clouds Agency do?
Clouds Agency is a creative agency in Los Angeles. We make video, run social media and influencer campaigns, design and build websites, and help film and post-production studios with networks, shared storage and TPN readiness.
How do I start a project?
Send a short request through the start form or the contact page. A real person on our team reads it and replies within one business day, then sends a written quote for the work.
Who reads my request?
A real person on our team reads and answers it, not an automated reply. For websites, a real person on our team plans, designs and builds the site instead of filling in a template.
Do you publish prices?
No. Cost depends on the scope, such as shoot days, crew and locations for video, or pages and features for a website. We send a written quote after we learn what you need, and it lists what is included.
How long does a project take?
A social media content package can start within about two weeks. Brand films and websites usually take 4 to 8 weeks from kickoff to delivery. The biggest variable is how fast feedback and content come back at each stage.
Do you work outside Los Angeles?
We are based in Los Angeles and serve businesses across Los Angeles County. Studio IT reviews of your network, storage settings and workflow can often start remotely. Anything physical, such as cabling or a rack, needs someone on site.
Websites and quotes
The website quote, platforms, search and editing the site yourself.
How does the website quote work?
You answer a few questions about your business and your website, and a blueprint takes shape as you go. A person on our team reads it and replies. The full quote takes about four minutes, and there is a one-minute short version. You can also finish later.
How much does a website cost?
It depends on the number of pages, whether you need a store or custom features, and whether we write the copy. We do not publish prices. After a short call we send a written quote that lists what is included.
Should my site be built on Webflow or custom in Next.js?
Webflow is a good fit for marketing sites your team wants to edit directly. Next.js suits sites with custom features or integrations. We recommend one after learning what your site needs to do.
Is SEO included in a website build?
Basic SEO is part of every build: page titles, descriptions, headings, social sharing tags, structured data and a sitemap. Ongoing SEO content work is separate, and we can talk about it after launch.
Can I update the site myself after launch?
Yes. Before handoff we walk you through how to change text, images and pages. Webflow sites are edited in Webflow. For Next.js sites we tell you how editing will work before we start building.
Can you check my current website for free?
Yes. The free website check takes your web address and shows, in plain English, whether your site is secure, set up for phones and easy for Google to read.
Studio IT and TPN
Playback and storage problems, and getting ready for a TPN assessment.
Why is my Premiere Pro timeline choppy?
The cause is usually in the storage, the network or the settings between them. The playback troubleshooter asks six short questions about your editing app, storage and connection, then shows the likeliest causes with a guide for each.
What studio IT work do you do for post houses and edit bays?
Networks, shared storage, backups, remote access and security for production companies, studios and creators. We start with your editing app, storage and connection, then give you a written list of what we found in the order we would fix it.
Do you perform the TPN assessment or certify us?
No. We help you get ready. We check your setup against the MPA content security best practices, fix the gaps, write the policies and work with the assessor. An independent third-party assessor does the assessment. TPN says a Shield is not an approval, a certification or a pass or fail.
Who gets asked for TPN, and what do clients require?
Facilities that handle pre-release content for studios or streamers: post houses, VFX studios, editorial suites, sound facilities, storage and delivery vendors, and agencies that receive screeners. Each content owner decides what it requires, so ask your client early.
