How we work

How we work with clients, from first brief to launch and support

Six steps, in the same order on every project. At each one you can see what we need from you and what you get back.

  1. Brief

You tell us what you want. A person on our team reads it and writes back.

    You bring

The goal, who it is for and where it will play. For a website, what you sell and what the current site gets wrong. For social media, your handles and what you want from them. A few answers is enough to start.

    You get

A reply within one business day from a person who read your request, with questions, a scope and a written quote that lists what is included. We do not publish prices.

    Video
You bring the product and the goal. We ask about the audience and where the video will play, because everything else follows from those answers.
    Websites
Start with the website quote or the free website check. After a short call we send a written quote.
    Social media
Share your handles and goals and we reply with a plan for the first 90 days.
    Studio IT and TPN
Tell us what content you handle and who asked for TPN. We suggest where to start.
  2. Plan

The plan comes before the work, so you can change it while changing it is cheap.

    You bring

Your feedback and your sign-off. For studio IT work, network diagrams if you have them, a list of who has access to what and a walkthrough of the facility.

    You get

A written plan to approve. Depending on the work that is a script and shot list, a sitemap and wireframes, a 90-day content calendar or a ranked list of gaps.

    Video
A script, shot list and visual references to approve before anyone books a crew.
    Websites
A sitemap and wireframes, then full-page designs in Figma. You review the designs before we write code.
    Social media
An audit of your accounts, a handful of competitors and the posts your audience already responds to, then a 90-day content calendar and a platform list. A paid plan if you want one.
    Studio IT and TPN
A gap assessment against the MPA content security best practices, a written list of gaps ranked by priority and a roadmap for the fixes.
  3. Build or shoot

This is where the plan becomes footage, pages or posts.

    You bring

Content and feedback when we ask for them. In every timeline we publish, the main variable is how quickly those come back.

    You get

A team that handles the whole step, from camera, lighting and direction on a shoot to building and testing your site.

    Video
Our crew handles camera, lighting and direction on location or in studio, and you sign off on the day’s plan beforehand.
    Websites
We build in Next.js or Webflow, test on phones and desktops and set up the SEO basics: page titles, descriptions, structured data and a sitemap.
    Social media
We script, film and edit in regular batches, weekly or every two weeks, so there is always content in the queue.
    Studio IT and TPN
We put the technical controls in place and write the policies and procedures, or write up the changes for your own IT person.
  4. Review

You see the work before it goes anywhere.

    You bring

Your notes on the cut, the design or each post.

    You get

Revision rounds on video, a full-page design review on websites and approval of every social post before it goes live.

    Video
Cut, color grade, sound and motion graphics, with revision rounds built in.
    Websites
You review designs in Figma before we write code. The finished site is tested on phones and desktops before launch.
    Social media
You approve every piece before it goes live.
    Studio IT and TPN
A pre-audit readiness review: a practice run against the framework before the assessor arrives, plus a briefing for your staff.
  5. Launch

Files go out, the site goes live, the posts are scheduled.

    You bring

For video, the platforms you want files for. You name them in the brief.

    You get

Finished files, a live site or a posting schedule you approved, and a walkthrough of how to use what we made.

    Video
Files exported for each platform you named in the brief, plus a rollout plan if you want one.
    Websites
We publish the site and walk you through how to update it.
    Social media
Posts go out on the schedule you approved. Paid campaigns get A/B tested against each other.
    Studio IT and TPN
We schedule with the third-party assessor, answer their document requests with you and help close any findings they raise. The assessor does the assessment.
  6. Support

What happens after launch depends on the work.

    You bring

Questions, new content and decisions about what comes next.

    You get

A monthly review for social media, documentation you keep for studio IT work and, for websites, the know-how to edit pages yourself.

    Video
Final files at handoff. Ownership and usage terms are written into the agreement before work starts.
    Websites
Basic SEO is part of every build. Ongoing SEO content work is separate, and we can talk about it after launch.
    Social media
Each month we review what got watched and saved, then adjust the next batch. You get a performance report.
    Studio IT and TPN
We can stay on for monitoring and restore tests, or hand it to your IT person with a written runbook. The documentation belongs to you.

Timelines we already publish

About two weeks

for a social media content package to start.

4 to 8 weeks

from kickoff to delivery for brand films and websites. Bigger sites take longer.

One business day

for a person on our team to reply to a request.

These are the numbers on our service pages. Your project may differ, and the quote says so in writing.

A real person on our team

Every request is read by a person, not sorted by a template. The person who plans your website is the person who designs and builds it, and on video the person who wrote the concept is in the edit room. Content security is part of how we work too, and it has its own page: how we handle client footage, drives and logins.

Questions people ask

How long does a project take?

A social media content package can start within about two weeks. Brand films and websites usually take 4 to 8 weeks from kickoff to delivery, and bigger sites take longer. The main variable is how quickly feedback and content come back at each stage. For TPN readiness we give you an estimate after the gap assessment, because it depends on where you start.

Who will I be talking to?

A real person on our team. Every request is read by a person, and we reply within one business day. On video projects you talk to us rather than to three vendors, and questions and feedback go to a single thread.

What do I need to have ready to ask for a quote?

The goal, who it is for and where it will play. For a website, tell us what you sell and what the current site gets wrong. For social media, send your handles and what you want from them. You do not need a finished brief, and we ask follow-up questions.

How much will it cost?

We do not publish prices, because the cost depends on the scope. After a short call we send a written quote that lists what is included. On social media, ad spend goes straight to the platform and is billed separately from our fee.

Do I approve the work before it goes live?

Yes. On video you approve the script and shot list before a crew is booked. On websites you review full-page designs before we write code. On social media you approve every piece before it goes live.

Who owns the finished work?

Ownership and usage terms are written into the agreement before work starts, and you receive final files at handoff. For websites, the domain is registered in your name and you receive all logins at handoff.

Ready to start with the brief?

Tell us what you want to make. A person on our team reads it and replies within one business day.
