Commercial Production Agency Los Angeles
One team writes the concept, shoots it and finishes the edit. You get a spot that matches what you approved, in the file formats your media buyer needs.
Quick answer
Clouds Agency is a creative agency in Los Angeles. Commercial production in Los Angeles: broadcast and streaming spots, out-of-home video, product demos and brand films, from concept to final delivery.
What We Deliver
The spots and films we produce
Broadcast spots
Thirty and sixty second commercials, produced from concept to a final master built to the network or station spec you give us.
Streaming pre-roll
Skippable and non-skippable spots for YouTube and connected TV. The first few seconds are written for people ready to skip.
Brand films
Longer films about who you are and what you do. They work on a website, at a trade show or in an investor deck.
Product demo videos
Videos that show what the product does and who it helps, one feature at a time.
Out-of-home video
Video cut for digital billboards, transit screens and venue displays, with the screen size and viewing distance in mind.
Behind-the-scenes content
Footage from the shoot day, cut for social. It adds to the campaign without adding a second shoot.
How We Work
From first call to final master
- 01
Concept
Script, storyboard, visual references and casting direction. We work on it with you until the concept is approved.
- 02
Pre-production
Locations, casting, crew, equipment and the shoot schedule get settled before anyone arrives on set.
- 03
Shoot
A full crew on set, including director, camera, lighting, art and wardrobe. We work through the board and cover the shots we flagged as risky.
- 04
Post-production
Edit, color, sound, music, motion graphics and effects, with feedback rounds written into the schedule.
- 05
Delivery
Masters and platform versions go out in the specs your media buyer sends us. We stay on to answer questions during trafficking.
What you get at handoff
How a commercial project runs
The approved concept is what we shoot
Director, editor, colorist and motion designer sit on the same team. Nobody has to translate a brief between vendors.
Specs are requested early
We ask for broadcast and platform delivery requirements at the start, so post is built to them instead of reworked at the end.
Deadlines shape the schedule
If your media buy has a hard air date, tell us at kickoff. We plan the production calendar backward from it.
Questions people ask
What does a commercial cost?
It depends on the concept, number of shoot days, talent, locations and post-production work. We quote after a call about the brief, and we can usually suggest ways to scale the idea up or down to fit a budget.
How long does a commercial take?
Brand films usually take 4 to 8 weeks from kickoff to delivery, and commercials follow a similar rhythm. Casting, locations and effects work can move that either way, so we give you a schedule once the concept is approved.
What do you need from us?
A brief with your goal, audience, where the spot will air, and any brand guidelines. We also need a decision maker who can approve the script and cuts, and your media buyer's delivery specs.
Which file formats do you deliver?
We deliver the masters and platform versions listed in your specs, plus social cuts in the aspect ratios you request, such as 16x9, 9x16 and 1x1. Send us the requirements early and we build to them.
How many revisions are included?
The scope sets the number of feedback rounds for the edit and finishing. Consolidated notes from one person on your side keep rounds short.
Who owns the final spot?
Usage terms, including media, territory and duration for talent and music, are written into the agreement. We walk you through them before the shoot so there are no surprises when the spot is ready to run.
